This District event is for everyone: Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturers, and Sea Scouts – Youth & Adults. Have your Scouts bring along a friend interested in scouting, and start your journey to earn the International Spirit Award.
For Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA and older youth, and adult leaders, the International Spirit Award is worn as a temporary patch centered on the right uniform pocket. The award seeks to broaden knowledge of international Scouting and increase appreciation and awareness of different cultures and countries.
Note:
Part of the Spirit Award involves taking part in a international Jamboree on the Air/Jamboree on the Internet (JOTA-JOTI) event – which we will showcase and enable on Oct 18. JOTA-JOTI are the world’s largest digital and radio Scout events, promoting friendship and global citizenship. Learn more about JOTA-JOTI at https://www.jotajoti.info/.
