Cub Scouts Summer Camp
CANCELLED - Cub Scout Target and Range Day @ Union Grove United Methodist Church

We are sorry to say that this Target Sports event has been cancelled.  It will be rescheduled soon!

 

Boys and girls ages 5-10 are invited to attend our Target and Range Day in Hillsborough.

This is for Cubs who have completed Lions and / or who will be starting first grade after June 1st, 2025.  We will break scouts into grade-specific groups and will rotate across stations in 50min increments.  Popsicles and water will be provided to beat the heat!

We will have 3 events that can qualify for Rank-based advancement and we will have worksheets to take back to your units for belt loops/pins:

  • Archery
  • BB Guns
  • Slingshots

We will have another station for games as well as the opportunity to make your own arrow.  We will have supplies to make your own arrow that your Scout can customize and take home.

Registration will close the 18th of May, so register early to make sure you secure your spot.   This year, there will be registration for Scouts AND volunteers.  If you have a particular Scout Training such as Rangemaster or Range Safety officer, please denote it.  Or even if you want to help make the event a success, the more help the better!
