Cost: $35.00 – includes meals, snacks, patch, course materials and an overnight camping experience.
Bring your tent, sleeping bag and personal gear Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you register.
There is an on-line pre-requisite that must be completed prior to attending this hands-on practical component. The online training contains introductory and basic information that will be built upon during the practical training.
To complete the online portion, log on to https://my.scouting.org/. Navigate to the BSA Learning Center. The required BALOO training is under the “Expanded Learning” section. Please print your certificate and bring it along to training.

About BALOO training: This is the Cub Scout leader training required for any Cub Scout Den or Pack outdoor event, including pack camping overnighters and Webelos den overnighters.
BALOO training is comprised of two components—an online component and a practical, hands-on component. Both components must be completed to qualify as a “TRAINED” Cub Scout outdoor leader.
