The annual 50 miler trip is back this year in partnership with the American Legion, BSA, and GSA.
Come join us for the 2022 Holiday 50 Miler in Uwharrie National Forest.

Along the way you will see beautiful places that you will only see in Uwharrie National Forest. This trek will be an intense high adventure experience. This trek is open to youth and adults affiliated with American Legion sponsored youth programs including Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America and Junior Shooting Sports with backpacking experience.
Each group attending must provide two-deep leadership, and the leaders must have current Youth Protection.
This 50-Miler is a backpacking trip. Everyone is responsible for bringing and carrying their own gear, food and water.
Must complete the 50-Miler to earn that patch!
